Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BeyondVivid LLC ("BeyondVivid," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use job◎photos (the "Service"). Questions can go to info@beyond-vivid.com.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address, and the company (organization) and role you belong to, handled through our authentication provider.
• Photos and captions you capture. The images you take in the app, any caption you add, and the project they belong to.
• Photo metadata. The date and time of capture and, if you allow location access, the GPS coordinates of where a photo was taken.
• Billing information. Your subscription and payment status. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Basic usage and device data. Standard logs needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.

How we use information

• To provide the Service: capture photos, organize them by job, and make them available to your crew.
• To deliver the marketing services BeyondVivid provides to your company using your photos.
• To handle subscriptions, billing, and support.
• To secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

Photos: storage, access, and BeyondVivid's role

Photos are stored in private cloud storage and are reached only through short-lived links issued after a check that you belong to the organization that owns them. By default, captured photos are not placed in your phone's personal gallery; a photo only leaves to your device or to another person when you deliberately save or send it.

BeyondVivid access. Because job◎photos is part of the marketing services BeyondVivid provides to your company, BeyondVivid staff can view, organize, mark, and download the photos in your organization to deliver those services. We do not sell your photos or your personal information to anyone.

Location data

When you allow location access, we attach the GPS coordinates and accuracy to each photo so a job can be tied to where the work happened. Location is optional: if you decline the permission, capture still works and the photo is simply stored without coordinates.

Service providers we use

We rely on a small set of providers to run the Service, each handling data only to provide their part:

• Clerk, for sign-in and account management;
• Supabase, for the database that organizes photos and projects;
• Cloudflare R2, for private photo storage;
• Stripe, for subscription payments;
• Vercel, for hosting the app.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If your company stops using the Service, we may retain stored photos for a period to allow reactivation, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your company's photos or your personal information by emailing info@beyond-vivid.com, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Security

We protect data with access controls, per-organization isolation, and short-lived signed links to stored photos. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your photos safe and private.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account details in the app, control location permission through your device settings, and request access to or deletion of your information by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
